With most Eye Plans getting your annual eye exam is free. Early detection of eye problems can help protect your vision for the future.
2. Know your plan.
Visit your vision insurance company to understand your benefits. Your insurance may give a percentage discount. You may have maximum dollar amount coverage. Knowing if your plans cover things like high index lenses, progressive lenses, anti-glare, scratch protection, and transition lenses will help you get the most out of your coverage. 3. Use your frame and lens allowances.
Many vision plans allow you spending allowances annually or biannually. Know when your benefits come up so you can take advantage. Selecting a vision plan that covers your needs. Many people want to see better. Things like contact lenses, anti-glare coating, progressive lenses, high index lenses may not be covered by your basic plan and can be covered by selecting a higher plan.
